Flood Advice from Police

Surrey Police are urging residents likely to be affected by severe flood warnings to cooperate with emergency services and take precautions to protect themselves and their properties.

Severe flood warnings, which means there is a potential risk to life, have been issued in five areas on the River Thames in Surrey, including Staines, Laleham, Chertsey, Shepperton and Hamm Court. Up to 2,500 homes may be affected

Military assistance is being provided and personnel will work alongside other agencies such as Surrey County Council.
