If the second runway goes ahead at Gatwick they will put aside more than £250 million for jobs, housing and apprenticeships.

Some of this money will also go towards insulating houses from noise and as a contribution to council tax for local residents.

Gatwick CEO Stewart Wingate says that a second runway would create a £90 billion boost to the UK.
