A cash box containing approximately £400 has been stolen from a farm in South Godstone.

Two men went to the premises off Eastbourne Road around 4.45 Sunday afternoon pretending to purchase eggs.

The suspects are described as white, of stocky build and around 5ft 6ins tall and aged in their mid-40s.  They were both wearing dark clothing.

Police are urging small business owners who operate out of rural properties to review their security measures.
