A man is to go before South East Surrey Magistrates Court next month following an incident in Dorking.

Surrey Police responded to call from members of the public who reported a man walking along South Street shouting, swearing and waving a folded saw.

A 57 year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested and charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and a public order offence for using threatening and abusive words following the incident Sunday morning.
