Air Ambulance Called to M23 Accident

The air ambulance landed on the M23 at Maidenbower on Tuesday morning (19th May).

They attended the scene of a collision between a flat-bed van and a slow-moving crane vehicle.

The van driver was flown by air ambulance to St George’s Hospital and a land ambulance drove the passenger of the van to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

Their conditions were not believed to be life threatening.

Both carriageways of the M23 were temporarily closed between Crawley and Pease Pottage.
