Crawley are showing off their Life Saving Skills

Members of Crawley Town Life Saving Club are making their countries proud as they compete in Wales.

The 2015 European Life Saving Championships are underway and Crawley member Zara Williams, current World Club Champion, has become European Open Champion breaking the official World 50m Carry record.

Zara has also claimed Bronze in the Women’s 200m under eight obstacles swim breaking the British speed record which has stood since 1999.  A silver was also awarded to Zara in the 100m Medley Rescue.

Another member of Crawley representing Great Britain is Devon Amos who also broke a British record in the 100m Manikin Carry with fins.

Andrew Kane, Crawley and Great Britain representative, achieved silver in the 12.5m speed line-throw.

Meanwhile David Butler, representing Crawley and Ireland, added a European Title to his existing World title.
