Equine crime-fighters to patrol Sussex

A new crime-fighting scheme in Sussex is being launched this month.

Sussex Equine Rangers will see horse riders volunteer to assist police  in the fight against rural crime and anti-social behaviour.

18 volunteers from the riding community are involved in the pilot scheme.  They will report back anything suspicious they observe whilst out riding.

The scheme which includes Warninglid in the trial sees Sussex Equine Rangers working with Farm Watch and Mid Sussex neighbourhood policing team.
