The Redhill Corps of Drums will be travelling to Eschweiler, Reigate and Banstead’s twin town in Germany tomorrow.  

They were invited to the Rosenmontagszug, the Carnival Monday Parade.  Rosenmontag, literally translated as Rose Monday, is two days before Ash Wednesday and is celebrated in some regions of Germany with street parades and parties.  

Dave Edge, Band Master of the Redhill Corps of Drums spoke to Neil Munday about the scale of the event.
