Man pleads guilty to failed robbery of Barclays Bank in Redhill

A man from Godstone has pleaded guilty to three charges related to the failed robbery of Barclays Bank in Redhill last month.

35-year-old Simon Considine threatened a customer with a knife but left with nothing before fleeing through the town centre towards Redhill train station where he was arrested.

He’ll remain in custody before being sentenced at Guildford Crown Court in August.
