Man sentenced for hit-and-run which flung young boy from car

A man’s been sentenced to three years in prison for a hit-and-run car crash in Crawley last year, which was so severe a nine-year-old boy was flung from the vehicle he was in.

Unemployed, 25-year-old Nathan Limbachia pleaded guilty to failing to report the collision and driving without a licence and insurance but denied dangerous driving, which was later proved during his trial.

While concluding proceedings the Judge said Limbachia should be ashamed of what he did.

The boy’s father later thanked the Police and Paramedics and said justice had been served.
