A mechanic from Crawley has been sentenced after being found guilty of killing a man through careless driving.

Partially sighted Robert Sims, also from Crawley, was hit by 23-year-old Amir Khan as he crossed the A23 Brighton Road on his way to the K2 Leisure Centre in April.

He has been given 180 hours community service along with a 3-year driving ban.
