The M25 in Surrey was closed in both directions yesterday morning following a serious collision between junction 7 with the M23 and junction 6 at Godstone.  

Surrey Police were called at 11 am to reports of a silver Audi driving erratically on the M25. The Audi was involved in three separate collisions; those in the vehicles were not seriously injured.  The Audi finally stopped when it collided with the central reservation, trapping the driver inside.  The driver was taken to hospital.  

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the silver Audi in the minutes leading up to the collisions.
