The Fire and Rescue Service in West Sussex welcomed 12 new wholetime firefighter recruits last week.  

This is the second intake of trainees following a competitive recruitment process which ran last year. The recruits will embark on an intensive recruitment training course for the next 14 weeks, which will be conducted in-house at Horley Fire Station.
