The Lucy Rayner Foundation: Lucy – Breaking The Silence

A documentary about the death of a young woman from Reigate has been shown at a private screening in Horsham.  

Lucy Rayner took her own life nearly six years ago after fighting a silent battle with depression. The documentary was made by local film production company Fact Not Fiction and was funded by the charity that Lucy’s family set up in her name. The Lucy Rayner Foundation raised £40,000 to part fund the documentary which aims to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of depression in young people.  Lucy – Breaking the Silence took about a year and a half to make.
