Two Convicted of Horsham Vehicle Crime

Two men have been convicted of vehicle crime in Horsham.

Following separate incidents, Christopher Light and Darion Bates went before Crawley Magistrates Court for sentencing.

39 year-old Light was given a 12-month conditional discharge and fines totalling £105 after being charged with theft from a motor vehicle.

51 year-old Bates received a 12-month community order, a rehabilitation activity requirement and a 12-month exclusion order.

Police are asking residents to help prevent vehicle crime by keeping valuables out of sight, ensuring all windows are closed and doors locked, and parking in brightly-lit areas.
