Gatwick reveals increase in long haul passengers

Gatwick has revealed that its new direct routes to South America have contributed a 2.3% rise in long haul passengers.

Passengers have been using Norwegian’s new service to Rio de Janeiro and  expanded flights to Buenos Aires. 

The new links have also lead  to a year-on-year growth of 39% for cargo between Gatwick and South America.

One in five passengers from Gatwick are now flying on long-haul flights.
