A man from Crawley has been jailed for drug and driving offences.

28 year old, Vikesh Patel from Town Mead was found guilty of eight offences including driving while being disqualified, possession of drugs with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon.

Patel stood trial in November and was found guilty. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

Another 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying cocaine and being in possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released under investigation.
