A man has been arrested following reports of a shooting in East Grinstead.

On Wednesday morning officers were called to an address at The Courtyard,East Grinstead after an account that a shot had been fired inside the property.

The area was searched for a man who was said to have been inside the building but had left before police arrived. No one was hurt
