One in four people with Coronavirus missed by NHS tracing system

It’s been revealed that more than one in four people who test positive for Coronavirus, cannot be reached by the test and trace system in England.

During its first two weeks of operation, 14,000 people were needed to be traced but less than 10,200 could be reached.

Ministers have said the public has a “Civic duty” to engage with the test and trace system and are urging people who are showing any symptoms to book a test immediately.
