Merstham residents are being asked for their views on improvements to Merstham Recreation Ground.

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council is planning a £1.5 million project to refurbish the park, located between Weldon Way and Albury Road.  Some initial ideas have been produced and a public consultation is now open for the community to put their views.  Suggestions for improvements include better play facilities, a community garden, and wildlife areas.  Better parking has also been suggested for people visiting to play sport.

The consultation runs until 5th October and information can be found here:    reigate-banstead.gov.uk/MersthamRec

Building work is expected to start next Summer.
