Help make West Sussex a more healthy and sustainable place

Crawley residents are being called on to help make their area a more healthy and sustainable place.

West Sussex County Council has created a framework policy to ensure developers, investors, planners and service providers are creating sustainable locations across the county and now residents are being asked for their input.
A consultation on the new framework will run until 11 January.

Amanda Jupp, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, said:
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to help shape West Sussex into a sustainable and healthy place for everyone who lives and works here. Everyone has the right to live in a great place. More importantly, everyone has the right to contribute to making the place where they live as great as possible. This framework sets out how we aim to achieve this and I would like to encourage as many people as possible to get involved and share their views.”

The framework can be reviewed on the council website www.westsussex.gov.uk
