Surrey Fire and Rescue Service Receives Praise

A recent inspection of Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has praised the way in which the organisation has responded to the Covid19 Pandemic.

The report which was undertaken by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services, details several key areas such as communication, training and resilience, which were all found to be working well.

The service’s Chief Fire Officer, Steve Owen-Hughes, said,
“We are really pleased with this report, it recognises all of the fantastic work that we undertook during the first stages of Covid 19.

“It also enables us to continuously improve the way we respond to – and recover from, this pandemic.”
