Don’t Ditch Masks, Say Our Local Hospitals and Metrobus

East Surrey Hospital and Queen Victoria Hospital have posted statements on their websites advising people that Covid safety must still be observed on its premises.

Although many government Covid restrictions end today, Public Health England’s infection prevention control guidelines mean that everyone visiting healthcare settings must continue to wear a mask and observe distancing rules to ensure patients and staff are protected.

Metrobus has asked passengers to keep wearing face coverings after today in line with government guidance that people are expected to wear them in enclosed spaces.

From today Metrobus passengers can stand inside buses, and can now sit anywhere on the bus.  Extra cleaning, hand sanitiser and open windows are among the measures that remain on Metrobus services.
