Both Reigate and Banstead, and Crawley Borough Councils have reminded residents that no barbecues or fires are allowed in any of their parks or open spaces.

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council 18have advised that bin collections will take place earlier than usual this week to prevent crews having to work in the extreme heat; residents are asked to put their bins out the night before their usual collection day or by 5 am on the day.
