Fire safety advice for residents following flat blaze

West Sussex fire and rescue service are offering free “Safe and Well” visits for communities across the region.

It follows on from one such visit where safety advice was given to the residents of Milton Mount, which has 146 flats, next to Worth Park in Pound Hill, that had a fire last month.

The visit saw council officers joining Green Watch from Crawley Fire Station Community Prevention and Training Team, along with volunteers to inspect communal areas and give general safety advice.

If you know someone who would benefit from a Safe and Well visit, or if you would like to have one yourself, you can find further information by searching for ‘safe and well West Sussex’ online.
