The MP for East Surrey, Claire Coutinho, has been appointed as a minister at the Department for Education in Rishi Sunak’s new government. 

She has been appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department. 

Claire Coutinho became Minister for Disabled People just last month, and became an MP in 2019.
