Come and meet Susy Radio at the Horley Carnival

The Horley Carnival is back again for 2017 and SUSY RADIO 103.4 FM will have the outside broadcast unit at the carnival and members of the Susy team will also be taking part in the carnival parade, so don’t forget to give them a wave.

It’s all happening this Saturday, 17th June 2017 between 12 and 5pm at the Horley Recreation Ground on the A23 Brighton Road. It’s going to be a fun day for all the family.

The Carnival Theme this year will be ‘Wonders of the Sea’ which gives plenty of scope for imaginative ideas with floats in the procession which starts from the town centre car park at 12.30pm. The Parade winds around Horley and reaches the Recreation Ground at about 1.00pm.

It was quite spectacular last year with some new entries including some additional schools. This year however, there are even more entries. Floats and walking entries will be judged at the assembly point. There will be prizes for junior and senior categories, as well as for the Best Dressed Parade Entry and Most Humorous Parade Entry.

There will be a variety of arena events offering entertainment for visitors of all ages all along with a Best Themed Stall competition for Stallholders, using the this year’s ‘Wonders of the Sea’ theme. Judging will take place after the parade and prizes will be awarded in the Recreation Ground.

Check out the Horley Carnival facebook page for more information and listen for live updates from the Carnival on Susy Radio 103.4 FM.
