Man Airlifted To Hospital Following Collision On the M25 At Reigate

A man was airlifted to hospital yesterday following a collision on the M25 near Reigate between two lorries and a van.

The driver from one of the articulated lorries sustained serious injuries following the collision. The occupants of the other vehicles suffered minor injuries.

The clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junction 8 at Reigate and junction 9 at Leatherhead was closed throughout yesterday and during the night. This was to allow recovery of the vehicles, and to deal with a substantial fuel leak which meant that the road had to be resurfaced.
