Gang Attack on Cat

A cat is undergoing treatment after teenagers set a dog on it in Bewbush.

Three boys were playing with the ginger feline in Arne Close, before picking it up and waiving it in front of their dog.

The dog, thought to be a white Staffordshire bull terrier with tanned patches, was off its lead and was reportedly encouraged to attack the cat, which the boys were still holding.

A neighbour disturbed them around 7.30 Last Monday evening and the boys reportedly threw the cat over a fence as they fled.

Two of the boys have been described as 14-15 years old, both of white origin, one had light blonde hair shaved at both sides; the second had dark brown hair.
