Worth Park Fountain Restoration

Crawley Borough Council’s new contractor, The Fountain Company, has started work on restoring the fountain at Worth Park.

The remaining water has been pumped out and work will shortly commence on relining the basin and replacing the damaged equipment.

These works are expected to take about three months but are entirely weather dependent.

It’s hoped the fountain will be working in time for the summer.

Councillor Chris Mullins, Cabinet member for Leisure and Culture, said: “We are very pleased work has resumed on this historical feature in the park and looking forward to it being operational again after so many years.”
