Red captain to miss Wycombe game

Crawley Town captain, Jimmy Smith, is to miss Saturday’s game against Wycombe due to a hamstring injury.

Coach Harry Kewell says it’s unfortunate, but it will give someone else the opportunity to impress.

It comes as he’s described the next few weeks as ‘tough’ as the Red who are currently 18th in the League face some of the teams nearer the top of the table.

Kewell says they will ‘relish’ playing these top teams.
