Football Update

In League 2, Crawley Town picked up their first win away from home since 8th September.  Filipe Morais’ goal sealed the 1-0 victory at Swindon Town on Saturday.

Merstham climb further up the Bostik Premier Division table to 4th place following their 3-0 win at home to AFC Hornchurch.

In the Bostik South East Division, Horsham are also in 4th place winning 1-0 at home to Ramsgate.  East Grinstead Town drew 3-3 away to Sevenoaks Town. Three Bridges lost 1-0 at home to Ashford United.

South Park won their Bostik South Central Division match 2-1 away to Chalfont St Peter.

In the Combined Counties Premier Division, Horley Town gained three points winning 3-0 at home to Balham FC.

Football Update

In League 2, Crawley Town lost 1-0 at home to Port Vale on Saturday.

Merstham move up to 5th place in the Bostik Premier Division after winning 2-1 away to Carshalton Athletic.

In the Bostik South East Division, it was a 4-4 draw for East Grinstead Town and Three Bridges in a local Sussex derby at East Court.  Horsham lost 1-0 away to Phoenix Sports.

South Park won their Bostik South Central Division match 3-2 at home to Hertford Town.

In the Combined Counties Premier Division, Horley Town won 2-1 at home to AFC Hayes and Redhill won 2-0 away to Balham FC.

Football Update

Crawley Town suffered their first defeat of the year on Saturday, losing 2-1 to Stevenage at the Lamex Stadium.  The Reds slip down to 17th place in League 2.

In the Bostik Premier division, Merstham won their home match 1-0 against Enfield Town.

Horsham move up to 3rd place in the Bostik South East Division, overtaking opponents Whyteleafe after winning 1-0.  Three Bridges lost 2-1 at home to VCD Athletic and East Grinstead Town lost 2-0 at home to Cray Wanderers.

Reigate team, South Park lost their Bostik South Central match 4-3 away to Bracknell Town.

In the Combined Counties Premier Division, Redhill gained a point in their 3-3 draw at Kiln Brow against Walton and Hersham.  Horley Town lost 3-0 away to CB Hounslow United.

Saturday’s Football Fixtures

In League 2, Crawley Town travel to Stevenage tomorrow.  It will be the twelfth time the two sides have met.  Over the years the sides have had a similar record.  Crawley have won four of the previous eleven, Stevenage have won four, and the other three were draws.

In the Bostik Premier Division, Merstham host fourth placed Enfield Town.

Kick off for both matches is 3 o’clock.

Crawley Town hosted Cheltenham Town on Saturday.  The Reds have made a good start to the year as Joe Franklin reports:

Crawley Wasps Ladies Football Club are through to the fourth round of the Women’s FA Cup after beating Coventry United 2-1 away yesterday.
