Residents in some parts of Merstham were without water today after a pipe burst.

It happened around 9am this morning when water flooded Shepherd’s Hill Road – residents on twitter described it as like a ‘geyser’.

Transport was disrupted and bottled water was available while the repairs were made.

It’s back to normal now.
