More than a thousand burns patients across the South-East will soon be able to have life-changing laser treatment closer to home.

A £400,000 investment in state of the art laser equipment at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, will make it the only hospital in Sussex, Surrey and Kent to offer this treatment on site. Currently patients that need laser treatment to reduce redness, itching and tightness on their scarring have to go into London or Essex.

The introduction of the new equipment at the Hospital means patients can continue to have their care delivered by the team they know best.
