Many of our local teams end the season with promotion or relegation battles in the next few days:
Dorking Wanderers finished in 6th place in the National League South and secured their play off position after their 2-0 win over Chesham. Dorking meet 5th placed Boreham Wood in the play offs tomorrow evening seeking promotion back to the National League.
In the Isthmian South East Division, Merstham finished in 5th place and are through to their play off semi finals tomorrow against 2nd placed Sittingbourne FC.
Crawley Town won 3-0 at home to Northampton Town but remain in the relegation zone in the League One table. The Reds are 4th from bottom; their fate will be decided on Saturday in the final games of the season.
Redhill FC are still waiting to properly celebrate as champions of the Combined Counties Premier Division. Redhill finished in second place, with Jersey in first place… but Jersey had 3 points deducted for fielding an ineligible player in a recent match. They have used their right to appeal, but a final decision hasn’t yet been reached.
