AFC Whyteleafe lost 2-1 to Whitstable Town in the FA Vase final at Wembley yesterday.  The match ended 1-1 at full time but Whitstable scored the winning goal in the first half of extra time. 

The club only formed four years ago after Whyteleafe FC folded.  During that time AFC Whyteleafe has risen from the eighth to the fifth tier of non-league football.
