Essential road, drainage and bridge maintenance works will begin in two weeks’ time on the A23 in Crawley. 

Work will start on Wednesday 23rd July to refurbish the Crawley bypass railway bridge, and improve the traffic signals and drainage network on the A23 near the Ifield Community College junction.  The road will then be resurfaced. 

Most of the work will be scheduled during the school summer holidays to keep traffic disruption to a minimum.  The work is expected to last until October.
