Strikes by Gatwick Airport baggage screeners have been suspended due to an improved pay offer.
Strike action scheduled from 22nd to 26th August will not take place. The Unite Union says the workers, employed by ICTS, are among the lowest paid at the airport, earning just above the minimum wage.
Unite will be balloting the workers on the new offer. If the offer is rejected then strike action from 29th August to 2nd September will go ahead.
