“Deliver the best possible service to communities” is what the new new deputy chief constable of Surrey has vowed.

Surrey Police confirmed on Tuesday that Mark McEwan would replace retiring Deputy Chief Nev Kemp.

Chief Constable Tim De Meyer said the appointment was “fantastic news” for the force and Surrey communities.
