Bus Strikes in Crawley and Brighton Are Called Off

Planned strikes due to take place today and next Monday by over a thousand bus workers in Crawley and Brighton, have been called off after workers voted to accept a pay offer.  They will now receive an overall pay offer of 5.2%.

Additionally the Unite Union says the Copthorne depot, who were on a lower hourly rate, have accepted a 7% pay rise and an agreement over sick pay which they didn’t previously receive.
