The NHS Trust which runs East Surrey Hospital has received £12.7 million in capital funding from NHS England to build two brand new operating theatres on its Redhill site. 

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust says the construction of two new theatres will help reduce waiting times for surgery and will ensure the Hospital can continue to deliver the highest standards of patient care. 

Work on the East Surrey Hospital site is expected to begin later this year.
