Crawley Town sporting director resigns

Crawley Town’s sporting director Tobias Phoenix has left the club by mutual consent.

The former director of football operations at Bolton Wanderers joined Crawley during last season, when the Reds were relegated from League One.

It is the latest change in a turbulent year for the club, after former co-owner Preston Johnson resigned in July over the club’s transfer strategy.
