GOOD LUCK!
Kalima are a 5 piece modern roots reggae band consisting of Lisa, Ivan, Nick, Ben & Michael – our shared obsession and love for reggae and our equal determination to make sure we write new songs for this incredible genre.
As well as being THAT rare live band whose performances are the ones not witnessed since the explosion of Uk bands in our parents era – The gigs that we would all want to be watching
Live ( proper) reggae is about to shake up and wake up an out of touch predictably dull industry and Kalima intend to be the band to open the floodgates for the others to join our stage
No Imlay are a local band, performing original songs, written from the heart about everyday things, story telling like a folk band but can rock out, chill out, ska it up and even drop a bit of light jazz. A solid rhythm section, David on drums and Simon on bass, supply the foundations for witty lyrics and charming guitar melodies with deep and sometimes dark vocal performances from Josh and a touch of BVs from Richard.
Seasoned players very much working as a unit, producing a tight and well crafted sound. Covering a wide range of genres, from rock to reggae, folk to jazz and most other stops along the way, something for everyone and you won’t be disappointed!
Bloodlines are a young female four piece band from Surrey. Consisting of Scarlett Matthews (lead vocals), Heidi Rush (lead guitar), Ella Pritchard (bass and vocals) and Pippa Rush (drums). Winners of battle of the bands Redstart 25.
