GOOD LUCK!
Ruins are a band with punky grit and massive pop hooks. First formed in 2022 by a group of restless musicians unknown to each other, with only the need to create great music being their guiding light.
Drawing from hard experience, the band are a blended mix of an alternative sound, that is both rock/punk/pop in nature, and with strong emphasis on songwriting and storytelling – stories of loss, love, revenge, and the beautiful, grubby mess that is life. It’s like if Abba mated with Pulp, while Bowie puts the kettle on.
Ruins are a natural fit for live performance; both sinewy and theatrical, showcasing their unique perspective – where every note is lived, earned and not just played.
We are a female fronted 4-piece original indie rock band and our influences include Wet Leg, Kate Bush, Supergrass and The Beatles. Our songs are weird diary entries, imagined histories and folktales.
Sleeptalk’s most recent review in The Guildford Dragon said that our “crowd work and stage presence blazed alongside riffs and hooks. Awesome!”
“A life without music is no life at all” …. Three Dog Bingo are an experienced three piece, that found each other just in time to bring back a bit of musical spark into their lives….but not taking themselves too seriously….
They draw inspiration from a wide range of musical influences such as Americana, British 60s and 70s singer-songwriters, Country, Folk, Funk and Blues but giving their self-penned songs a unique twist of acoustic funk.
They are:
Mark Gugenheim (Guitar / Lead Vocals)
James Norman (Bass / Vocals)
Sam Boxhall (Cajon / Vocals)
Pixelstorm is an Electropop act from Surrey bringing energetic songs of love, madness and untamed technology. Pete blends hooky eighties electronica, live keytar, and powerful Bowie-eske vocals.
