AKA The Syndicate – this superb band will certainly please fans of The Specials and The Selecter, and have a real depth and breadth to their music, operating as it does in that sweet spot between reggae and new wave as exemplified by The Ruts and The Clash. And needless to say a guaranteed workout for your dancing feet is assured. –

Argenta formed in April this year when two former teaching colleagues (Ris and Steve) realised they’d been working together for four years, but didn’t know the other had been looking to create soulful acoustic music all along. Their writing draws on Ris’s very personal journey of discovering her truth through adversity, and finding the resilience to discover beauty through grief.

Beth Sarah turns life’s chaos into art – her voice equal parts tenderness and thunder. The Worthing-born songwriter delivers raw emotion wrapped in haunting melodies, finding beauty in struggle, strength in vulnerability, and meaning in the messy, unresolved spaces in between.
At the heart of her work is Beautifully Unfinished: the idea that we don’t need to have everything figured out to be worthy of being seen, heard or celebrated. Through deeply personal songwriting and an ever-growing community around her forthcoming album Almost, Beth is creating songs for people who are still becoming.
Every track hits where it hurts – and somehow, heals too.
