Surrey County Council is announcing that over 800 public charging points for electric vehicles have been installed across the county.

In partnership with Connected Kerb, almost 700 on the charge points are on-street, with many installed in high street locations or on residential roads where there is little or no off-street parking

In addition, almost 150 lamp post column chargepoints have been installed, taking advantage of the existing electrical connections.

With these installation it is hoped that it wilful make charging electric vehicles easier and more accessible to everyone.
