Sussex Police are carrying out inquiries after receiving a report of a man being assaulted by another man on the A264 near the junction of the M23 at Pease Pottage.

The incident is said to have occurred 7:10 in the evening on Tuesday, before the suspect got into his vehicle and Drove off.

The victim and suspect have not been found.
