Three Charged with Supplying Class A Drugs

Two men and a boy, aged 17, have been charged with supplying Class A drugs.

They have each been charged with supplying crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis in relation to a county lines drugs line.

Theo Rutter,18, from Bognor Road, Chichester; Abdillahi Mukhtar, 22 of no fixed address and a 17-year-old boy from Horsham, were arrested at a house in Horsham on 23 October. They appeared before Crawley Magistrates Court on 24 October and were remanded to appear at Crown Court on 21 November.  

Witnesses Sought Following Incident in Three Bridges

Sussex Police are investigating an incident where a pedestrian was injured in Three Bridges, Crawley, early on Sunday morning (26 October).

At 00.05am police responded to an incident between a dark blue Ford Toureno and another car in Haslett Avenue East, Three Bridges.

A passenger in the Toureno had got out of the car and suffered facial injuries after being reportedly struck by the other car.

Hundreds of Electric Vehicle Charging Points in Surrey is Still Achievable Say’s Council

Surrey County Council have said a target to install hundreds of on street electric vehicle charging points within the next three years is still achievable.

The current aim is to have 2000 points in place by 2028 despite there only being just 375 as of September this year.

The council admits progress has been slower than planned but is working with UK Power Networks and other outlets to get grid connections in place.

Public consultation opens on improving key Horsham routes

West Sussex County Council is wanting feedback on proposals to improve two key routes in Horsham.

The proposals focus on Rusper Road and Guildford Road, both important routes for accessing schools, workplaces and local services.

The council  is considering a range of targeted measures, including improved crossings for pedestrians, bus priority features and road layout changes.

The consultation closes on 22 December 2025.

Jet2 to fly from Gatwick next March

Jet2 has announced it is to offer flights from Gatwick Airport for the first time.

The airline said it had secured slots for six aircraft following the “release of additional capacity” by the airport.

Hundreds of jobs will be created in the region.

The airline will initially offer flights to 29 destinations.
