Firefighters were called to a blaze in Reigate in the early hours of last Saturday morning. The fire, which is being treated as suspected arson, broke out at the Old Reigatian Rugby Club in Park Lane.

No one was hurt, but there was significant damage to the clubhouse.

This is the third suspicious fire at sports clubs in the last week. The others were at Horley Lawn Tennis club last Sunday and at Chruchfields Bowls Club in Church Walk, Reigate last Thursday.

Police are looking at whether the fires were linked and have appealed to the public to contact them if they have any information.
