Redhill Robbery Arrest

A man in his 20s has been charged with robbery after another man was befriended in a Redhill pub before being lured to a property and having his property stolen.

Around 1.30am last Tuesday, (3 February) the victim was socialising with friends in Redhill Town Centre. He was invited back to a property and on arrival was assaulted receiving cuts and bruising.

His headphones, £50 cash and a sports bag containing personal items including a passport were taken during the incident.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and not connected to the recent spate of offences which have occurred in the Marketfield Car Park area of Redhill Town Centre.

Dene Fredrick Searle from Redhill was arrested and charged on Wednesday, (4 February).
